The VP Debate – Ifill and the “level playing field”
October 2, 2008Gwen Ifill, the Vice Presidential debate moderator, stands to make a huge financial gain if Barack Obama wins the presidency. Ifill is releasing a pro-Obama book on inauguration day – ‘The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama’ – it focuses on ‘blacks who are forging a bold new path to political power.’ Has anyone at the Commission on Presidential Debates heard of a conflict of interest?

Hillary Clinton was ridiculed in the press for her fabricated “landing under sniper fire” story. Joe Biden? He gets a pass from the press on TWO similar stories. Biden said he was “shot at” in Iraq and “forced down” in a helicopter by terrorists in Afghanistan. As it turns out, neither story is true, but the press doesn’t seem to think that’s important.
